You may be wondering how the length of your hose affects the amount of water pressure that comes out of your spray gun, but we will explain this in due course.
\nThe longer the hose is, the less the water pressure is going to be at the end of it but remember this only applies to a certain length of hose.<\/p>\n

Therefore, in theory, there are only about 5 pounds per square inch of pressure lost for every 100 feet of your pressure washer hose, which will affect you more the longer your hose is.
\nAn industrial pressure washer can produce around 2,500 PSU, meaning you would need a hose of over 16km in length in order for the water pressure coming out of it to be close to 0 PSI. This isn’t a real big issue to worry about, as your pressure washer is never going to be long enough for this to be a substantial problem.<\/p>\n

Factors to Consider When Purchasing a Pressure Washer Hose<\/h3>\n

Before you purchase a pressure washer, here are a couple of factors to consider \u2013<\/p>\n

PSI Rating<\/strong> – This is perhaps the most important thing to look out for when buying a pressure washer hose as you will need a hose that can handle the amount of pressure your washer produces without bursting.
\nMaterial<\/strong> – Some materials are better than others for pressure washer hoses, so be sure to take a look at what the hose is made of. Also, keep in mind the difference between hoses for hot or cold pressure washing.<\/p>\n
